Hong Kong is a solid city. Why do I say like that? It can accommodate so many people with so small place. How can it do that? It has millions of dense high buildings and narrow roads swirling around the hills. While we walking on the road, it makes you feel that Hong Kong has several levels from ground to the top.

As most people know, the cost of living in HongKong is quite high. As a result, almost over half of the oversea students including from Mainland prefer to cook themselves.  Eat more nutritionally and cost less.

Language is a big challenge for Mainland student, because most people here speak Cantonese, and some even could not understand Putong Hua.  So, we may have only two choices to do, one is to practice how to speak Cantonese, the other is just left which is making your English better (Of course, not all the Hong Kong people could understand English, especially those without that good  education background).

Transportation is convenient in HK. Railway is quite developed and most people like to take it no matter where you want to go.

The pace here is fast and people stress their responsibility for work. Somebody calls it “Da Gong Culture”. Most people like to talk about working for some famous companies, but not trying to be a good boss himself. Of course, it is something like a joke. No matter in what kind of culture, things can go well only if everybody is responsible for what they are doing.

My duty now is to study.  So, I am afraid that I have to stop now and go on with my readings.
